First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether using virtual reality (VR) during arteriovenous fistula surgery can lower pain, anxiety, and the need for anesthesia in adults with end-stage kidney disease on dialysis. About 64 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or VR during the procedure. The goal is to see if VR makes the surgery experience better and more comfortable.
