First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested whether wearing virtual reality (VR) glasses could help lower anxiety and improve vital signs like heart rate and blood pressure in 84 patients undergoing coronary angiography. Participants used VR glasses to watch relaxing scenes during the procedure. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free method could make the experience less stressful and more comfortable.
