Summary
This study tested whether watching a virtual reality (VR) simulation of a heart catheterization before the actual procedure reduces anxiety. 180 adults having their first heart catheterization either received standard education or standard education plus a VR experience. Researchers measured anxiety levels using a standard questionnaire to see if VR helped patients feel calmer.
