Video game workouts tested to help kids with cystic fibrosis breathe easier
NCT ID NCT05850351
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week virtual reality exercise program done at home could improve physical fitness in children with cystic fibrosis. Researchers compared kids using VR headsets for team-based games to kids doing standard online exercises. The goal was to see if the fun, social VR workouts could help children walk farther and get stronger, especially when pandemic restrictions limited their activity.
