First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether telling older adults with long-term low back pain to focus on their body movements or on the virtual environment during VR exercise leads to better results. Forty participants aged 65 and older will do VR-based core exercises three times a week for six weeks. Researchers will measure changes in frailty, balance, fall risk, and pain to see which focus strategy works best.
