Virtual healing: new online therapy targets cancer trauma in young survivors
NCT ID NCT07160933
Summary
This study aims to create and test an online group therapy program to help young adult cancer survivors (ages 18-39) manage post-traumatic stress symptoms related to their cancer experience. Researchers will first gather feedback from clinicians, then pilot the 8-session virtual program with 80 survivors to see if it's practical and acceptable. The goal is to develop a supportive intervention that survivors can access remotely to improve their emotional well-being after cancer treatment.
