Summary

This study tested whether receiving weekly educational emails for four weeks could help adults with eating disorders while they wait for specialized care. 78 people on a waitlist were randomly assigned to get the emails or not. The goal was to see if the materials reduced eating-disorder thoughts and improved body satisfaction and motivation to change.
