Virtual 'Surgery School' aims to cut complications for cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07278622

Summary

This study is testing a new virtual group education program called GoPREPARE, designed to help cancer patients get ready for major surgery. The program teaches patients how to improve their fitness, nutrition, and emotional well-being before their operation, with the goal of reducing complications and improving recovery. Researchers will enroll 24 patients to see if running a larger trial with this program is practical and to gather initial feedback from patients and staff.
