Summary
This study tested a computer program that acts like a friendly peer to help teenagers deal with stressful life events. 55 teens aged 14-25 chatted with the virtual agent over 4 weeks. The goal was to see if it could improve their mood, resilience, and ability to handle stress. This was a small early test to see if the idea works and is safe.
