NCT ID NCT05551715
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested a virtual eye model system (VEMoS) to help doctors choose the best settings for cataract and laser vision correction surgery. Over 500 participants were divided into three groups: those having cataract surgery, those having refractive surgery (like LASIK), and a control group with healthy eyes. The goal was to see which eye measurements best predict good vision after surgery, so treatments can be tailored to each person.
