NCT ID NCT06587646

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new 3D visualization tool called vEUA that helps surgeons see fistulas more clearly before operating on people with perianal Crohn's disease. About 30 adults who need surgery for fistulas or abscesses will be randomly assigned to standard care or care with the 3D model. The goal is to see if the tool improves surgical accuracy, reduces repeat procedures, and boosts patient quality of life.
