Student corps aims to curb maternal violence deaths

Summary
This study trains college students in helping professions to better support pregnant and postpartum people experiencing violence, substance use, or mental health issues. Researchers will also create a new system to track maternal injuries from violence in Kentucky. The goal is to reduce deaths and improve care for mothers at risk.
