Summary

This study tested whether the drug vilobelimab could help heal painful, open skin ulcers caused by a rare condition called pyoderma gangrenosum. About 54 adults with at least one qualifying ulcer received either the drug or a placebo. The main goal was to see if the drug could lead to complete wound closure compared to the placebo.
