First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study aims to see if showing cancer patients a short educational video before their first radiation therapy appointment helps them understand the treatment better than just talking with the doctor. One hundred patients will be randomly assigned to either watch a video sent via WhatsApp or receive standard verbal instructions. The researchers will measure changes in knowledge, anxiety, and satisfaction using questionnaires.
