Can a simple video better prepare cancer patients for radiation treatment?
NCT ID NCT07367997
Summary
This study aims to find out if a short educational video sent to patients before their appointment is better than the standard verbal instructions given during the appointment. It will involve 100 cancer patients in Pakistan who are about to start radiation therapy. The researchers will measure if the video improves patients' understanding of treatment and reduces their anxiety compared to traditional verbal education.
