First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a phone app for exercises works as well as working with a physical therapist before ACL knee surgery. It also checks if exercising before surgery helps recovery. About 66 adults with ACL tears will follow a 4-week exercise plan using an app, with a therapist, or no specific plan. Their knee strength and movement will be measured before and 6 months after surgery.
