Could watching movies replace the eye patch for kids with lazy eye?
NCT ID NCT05439200
Summary
This study is testing whether watching special 'asynchronous' movies is as effective as the standard eye patch treatment for improving vision in children aged 3-7 with lazy eye (amblyopia). Children will be randomly assigned to either watch the movies or wear a patch at home for 6 weeks, with their vision and treatment adherence closely monitored. The goal is to see if the movie treatment works as well and if children stick with it better than the traditional patch.
