Study tests which breathing tube method is safer for trainees to use

NCT ID NCT06842082

Summary

This study compared two techniques for placing a breathing tube during surgery. It aimed to see whether using a video-assisted device or the traditional direct-view method was better when performed by trainee anesthesiologists. Researchers measured which method was more successful on the first try and resulted in fewer complications for over 1,000 adult patients.
