Video tutorial may boost colonoscopy success

NCT ID NCT07355777

First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares two ways of explaining how to prepare for a colonoscopy: a standard oral explanation from a doctor versus watching a video tutorial at home. Researchers want to see if the video leads to better bowel cleanliness, which helps doctors spot polyps more easily. About 574 adults having their first colonoscopy will take part.
