Can short videos teach families to stop painful bed sores?
NCT ID NCT06775171
Summary
This study tested whether showing educational videos to family caregivers is better than standard verbal training at improving their knowledge and skills for preventing pressure injuries (bed sores). Researchers enrolled 270 caregivers of high-risk hospital patients and split them into groups to compare video training, standard training, and usual care. The main goal was to see if the video approach led to better understanding and caregiving practices over four weeks.
