Can a simple video before surgery lead to less pain and faster recovery?

NCT ID NCT07364968

Summary

This study tested whether watching an educational video before minimally invasive gynecologic surgery could improve recovery. Researchers compared 57 female patients who watched the video to those who received standard care. They measured if the video led to less anxiety, less pain medication use, and better understanding of post-surgery care instructions.
