Doctors-in-Training master new airway tool: study maps the learning path
NCT ID NCT07057921
Summary
This study observed how first- and second-year anesthesia residents learned to place a video-guided airway device (Video-LMA). Researchers tracked 100 residents with no prior experience as they performed the procedure on at least 10 patients each. The goal was to understand how many tries it takes for skills to become reliable, which can help improve training programs and patient safety.
