First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether watching a video with information about a planned C-section is better than just talking with a doctor for reducing anxiety and stress. About 140 pregnant women will take part. Researchers will measure anxiety with a questionnaire and stress with a blood test for cortisol. The goal is to find a simple way to help women feel more at ease before surgery.
