First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a video game designed to help breast cancer patients visualize their immune cells attacking cancer cells. 80 women with locally advanced breast cancer will play either the special game or a placebo game alongside standard chemotherapy. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms, mood, and immune cell activity to see if this fun approach can boost the body's natural defenses.
