Could watching movies replace the eye patch for kids with lazy eye?

NCT ID NCT05439200

Summary

This study is testing a new, patch-free treatment for lazy eye (amblyopia) in young children. Researchers want to see if watching specially designed, asynchronous movies at home works as well as or better than the standard treatment of wearing an adhesive eye patch. The study will enroll 44 children aged 3 to 7 to compare vision improvement and how well families stick with each treatment over several weeks.
