Gaming your way to better breathing: new study tests fun therapy for serious lung condition
NCT ID NCT07185178
Summary
This study is testing whether breathing exercises done through a video game can help people with Asthma-COPD Overlap Syndrome (ACOS) breathe better and improve their quality of life. Researchers will enroll 40 adults with ACOS to see if this fun, game-based approach can correct unhealthy breathing patterns and reduce symptoms like shortness of breath. The goal is to see if making rehab exercises more engaging leads to better results for patients.
