AI cameras watch for falls, aim to keep seniors safe at home
NCT ID NCT05875038
Summary
This study is testing whether a new AI-powered video monitoring system can help prevent serious injuries from falls in older adults living at home. It compares the new system, which automatically detects if someone has fallen, to the standard personal emergency alarm that a person must press. The goal is to see if faster, automatic alerts lead to fewer hospitalizations and help seniors live independently longer.
