A virtual hand to hold: can a family video call calm surgery fears?
NCT ID NCT07203989
Summary
This study is testing if a simple video call with a family member can help patients feel less anxious and fearful while waiting for bladder tumor surgery. Researchers will compare patients who have a video call to those who receive standard care, measuring stress and anxiety levels. The goal is to see if this easy intervention improves patients' emotional well-being before their operation.
