Simple cotton pad could make skin procedures less painful
NCT ID NCT06916468
Summary
This study tested whether placing a cotton pad under a vibrating numbing device makes it more comfortable for patients during skin procedures. Researchers asked 53 dermatology patients to try the device with and without cotton on different body areas and report which they preferred. The goal was to find simple ways to improve patient comfort during common medical treatments.
