Vibrating wire aims to bust through stubborn heart blockages
NCT ID NCT06193954
Summary
This early study is testing a new vibrating guidewire device designed to help doctors open completely blocked heart arteries that standard wires can't get through. It will involve about 10 patients with severe, persistent chest pain who haven't gotten relief from maximum medication. The main goals are to see if the vibrating wire can safely cross these tough blockages and if it helps patients walk farther and feel better over the following year.
