First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a new vibrating guidewire designed to help doctors cross completely blocked heart arteries in people with chronic chest pain that hasn't improved with standard medications. About 10 participants will have the wire used during a routine angioplasty procedure. The goal is to see if the wire can safely open the blockage and improve walking distance and chest pain symptoms over 6 to 12 months.
