Scientists shake up understanding of muscle reflexes
NCT ID NCT07170709
Summary
This study measured how body weight and vibration affect the timing of automatic muscle reflexes in healthy adults. Researchers had 36 volunteers stand on vibrating platforms while recording leg muscle activity. The goal was to understand how different conditions trigger different reflex types, which could help improve vibration-based rehabilitation techniques.
