Peanut patch hope: kids get continued allergy treatment

NCT ID NCT05424731

First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This program offers a peanut protein patch (Viaskin) to children aged 2 and older who have peanut allergies and were in a previous DBV712 study. The goal is to keep desensitizing them to peanuts, reducing the risk of severe reactions. Participants wear the patch daily, and it is not a cure—they must continue using it to maintain protection.
