New therapy aims to get concussed athletes back in the game

NCT ID NCT07401706

Summary

This study compares two types of physical therapy to help young athletes recover from post-concussion syndrome. It will test whether a specialized balance and gaze training program works better than standard physical therapy at improving stability, reducing fear of re-injury, and helping athletes return to their sport. The trial will involve 34 participants aged 12-30 who have had lingering concussion symptoms for 3-12 weeks.
