Hidden balance problem could explain why some kids struggle to read
NCT ID NCT05414903
Summary
This study aims to understand if problems with the inner ear balance system (vestibular loss) contribute to reading difficulties in children who also have hearing loss. Researchers will test 90 children to see how well they can see clearly while moving their head and how this relates to their reading skills. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better support and new help for these children in the future.
