New exercise combo aims to steady stroke survivors

Summary
This study looks at whether vestibular rehabilitation and dynamic neuromuscular stabilization exercises can improve balance and mobility in people who have had a stroke and have weakness on one side (hemiplegia). About 45 adults who had a stroke at least a year ago will try different exercise programs. Researchers will measure changes in balance, movement, and quality of life using standard tests.
