First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical robot called Versius to see if it is safe and effective for removing the uterus (hysterectomy) and/or ovaries. About 45 women with non-cancerous conditions will take part. The main goals are to see how often the robot-assisted surgery is completed without switching to other methods, and to track any serious side effects.
