Summary
This study tested a new circular catheter and generator system that uses pulsed field energy to treat atrial fibrillation and related arrhythmias. 141 adults with these heart rhythm problems received the treatment during a standard ablation procedure. The goal was to see if the technology could safely and effectively stop abnormal electrical signals in the heart.
