Summary
This study tested a Vermont program designed to help people who recently got sick or injured stay at their jobs or return to work quickly. The program trained doctors and provided coaches to create personalized plans for nearly 800 participants. Researchers compared people who got the program's help to those who didn't, to see if it improved employment and reduced the need for disability benefits.
