First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at 288 people who needed a biopsy of a lung nodule (a small growth). It compared two procedures: a CT-guided biopsy, which goes through the chest wall, and navigation bronchoscopy, which goes through the windpipe. The goal was to see which method gives a clearer diagnosis with fewer side effects. Results help doctors choose the best approach for each patient.
