New heart failure drug trial aims to cut hospital stays and save lives

Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug vericiguat to standard heart failure treatments helps people with worsening heart failure. About 130 adults with severe symptoms and low heart function will receive either vericiguat or a placebo. Researchers will track hospitalizations, heart-related deaths, and side effects over 3 months.
