New heart failure drug trial aims to cut hospital stays and deaths

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug vericiguat to standard treatment helps people with severe, worsening heart failure. About 130 participants will receive either vericiguat or a placebo. Researchers will track who needs to be hospitalized or dies from a heart-related cause over 3 months.
