Summary
This study looked at 40 adults having general anesthesia to see if the way the breathing machine delivers air (pressure-controlled vs volume-controlled) affects lung function during and after surgery. All participants were healthy (ASA I-II) and received low-flow anesthesia. The goal was to find which method might be gentler on the lungs.
