New peptide serum takes on minoxidil in hair loss battle

NCT ID NCT07536100

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new peptide-based hair serum works better than the standard treatment, minoxidil, for people with pattern hair loss. About 80 adults with mild to moderate hair loss will use either the peptide serum or minoxidil for 24 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in hair density and thickness to see if the new serum is a good alternative.
