Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug venetoclax to standard chemotherapy before and after a stem cell transplant can help prevent acute myeloid leukemia (AML) from coming back. About 244 adults with AML in first remission will receive either venetoclax or a placebo alongside their transplant treatment. The goal is to see if venetoclax improves event-free survival and reduces remaining cancer cells.
