First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of two drugs, venetoclax and azacitidine, for people newly diagnosed with a rare and hard-to-treat leukemia called acute leukemia of ambiguous lineage. The goal is to see if this treatment can help more patients achieve remission (cancer disappearance or major reduction). About 23 participants aged 15 and older will take part. The approach is based on success seen in other leukemias, but this is one of the first studies focused on this specific type.
