New drug duo shows promise for tough blood cancers

Summary
This study tests two drugs, venetoclax and ASTX727, in people with high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia who haven't had treatment yet. The goal is to see how well the combination works at controlling the cancer and what side effects it causes. About 52 participants will take part at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
