New combo targets lingering leukemia to prevent relapse
NCT ID NCT06284486
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether two drugs, venetoclax and revumenib, can control minimal residual disease (MRD) in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). MRD means a small number of cancer cells remain after treatment, raising relapse risk. The trial enrolls about 8 people aged 12 and older with certain genetic AML types. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and can clear these hidden cells.
