Glue vs. surgery: the battle for better vein treatment
NCT ID NCT03820947
Summary
This study aimed to see if a newer, less invasive procedure using medical glue (VenaSeal) was as good as or better than traditional surgery for treating varicose veins and leg ulcers. It involved over 500 adults with vein problems and compared patient satisfaction, healing, and recovery time. The trial was terminated early, and its results are now part of the ongoing evaluation of these treatment options.
