Scientists test if lifting faster builds better muscle
NCT ID NCT06760663
Summary
This study aimed to find out which weightlifting method is better for building muscle and strength. Researchers compared a traditional method (lifting a set percentage of your max) with a newer method that adjusts weight based on how fast you lift. They studied 30 healthy, experienced male weightlifters over 10 weeks to measure changes in muscle size, strength, and fatigue.
